Just a few things from the past week and a bit that put smiles on my face .. in no particular order:)
1. Ria in the jogging stroller - she's clearly too little for it but she looks so cute sitting in it.

2. Javan chatting with my folks, Aunty Dene and Jessie Ma - he refuses to talk on the phone but wants them to come on the 'perputer' aka skype
3. Getting both kids down for a nap at the same time ... OH JOY!

4. spending our evenings at the pool. tuesday night was especially sweet ... it was just so nice enjoying such a beautiful evening with my little family of FOUR! It started pouring within 30mins of us getting home. The thunder and lightening was so bad which made Javan cry 'mummy I dont like the thunder. thunder needs to go night night too!'
5. Watching Javan help J wash the car one night and then another night sitting outside eating popsicles with him while J mowed the yard.

6. Getting the chance to spend time with my bff Eleanor (aka Owa to the kids). Its fun to just chill around the house and do nothing. I even cut her hair one night! Javan asked me if I was going to do her eyebrows too:)

7. Jermaine dressing Ria for the pool - he put on her swimsuit complete with matching hairbow ... he was so proud of this little task so there was no use telling him that the swimsuit was two sizes too big!

8. This one is actually bittersweet ... Ria has officially outgrown the bassinet but it made me smile thinking of the first time we laid her in it

9. Javan and I were working on some of his lessons one afternoon and he said 'let me sure you how to write a C' I said ok thinking he was just going to scribble but nope he actually wrote a C ... lesson to me: never underestimate my child!

10. A fun playdate at
Trinity's gorgeous new house
It was pure chaos and noise but absolute fun at the same time!

11. Javan discovered that he loves Aromat ... he's well on his way to being a bonafide South African!

12. Ria discovered her toes (hard to tell in the pic but she's holding them)

and she's loving her hands
