Thanksgiving 2007

We went up to Nicholasville (Lexington, Kentucky area) to visit Nicole and Serge. Nicole and I had fun cooking while this is pretty much what the guys did all thursday

The turkey turned out great and was so delish ...

and for just 4 of us (well the babies too) we cooked way too many side dishes but it was all yummy!


Javan was excited about lotsa food!

Friday we hit the malls for some good shopping! Yes we were insane. It was a mad house. Later in the evening (after leftovers and a nap) we went back to the mall to visit Santa. Javan didnt like Santa this year and Noah was so-so about him. We ended up getting family photo's.

We left Saturday and headed to Knoxville to visit with Suzanne and her family

So that was Thanksgiving - fun indeed!

November is...

friends month! Well, thats the only way I could sum up the past 4 weekends this month! We've either had friends visiting from out of town or we've been out of town visiting....

Visiting Eleanor...
We went to Cedartown, Georgia one weekend to check out Eleanor's new apt and spend some time with her. It was a fun relaxing, weekend. We took Javan to the park and played cards and just lazed around.

Jody's visit...
The weekend after our trip to GA, Jody came to visit (we're old college pals!). Its always super fun hanging out with her. She's a riot! She took a road trip with her friend Cathy and they spent about 4 days here. Donna (and Justin) came over too and we had some great girly time.
A trip to the Art District and Tony's for lunch is always on the agenda!

Little Marshmallow Man

Winter is creeping in so Veryll decided to try on Javan's hat's tonight and he started chasing her. This is the picture that resulted. Our little marshmallow man...hahahahaha.

He got tired of this little fashion thing very quickly

Abigail Grace Hill arrived early Thursday morning (8 Nov). Proud parents are Melissa and Dewayne. We're so excited for you guys. She is absolutely precious. Can't wait to see her again:)

Reuniting with an old friend

The last time I saw Zach was in 1998. Friday we met up at Zaxby's and what a wonderful time we had. He got to meet Javan and we had a chance to "catch up" on what has happened in our lives for the last 8 years or so. After all these years I can truly say it was just like old times. He even looks the same as he did when we were at Lee.

Good Times with Good Friends

Nicole, Serge and Noah came down to visit this past weekend since it was Homecoming at Lee. We had lots of fun chatting til 3am the night they got in. Its funny how we had no problem staying up - you'd swear we had no kids! But when they boys decided to wake up promptly at 7:30am on Saturday we were all dragging our feet. After breakfast, we headed over to campus. We checked out the booths on the ped mall, went to the basketball game and just had fun bumping into old college friends.
