Evan: Ten Months Old

We've hit the double digits! Our baby boy is 10mths old. He is so much fun. Seriously, just a dream baby (except for night time sleep ... he was doing great but ever since he started crawling he's been waking up more during the night). Here's a few pics

Javan's Social Studies Project: Landforms

Javan's really enjoyed putting together his social studies project on landforms. I helped him so the research, we went out to get the materials ($$$) and we worked on it over 3 days. He was so happy with the end result.

His presentation went well and he got a 100 on each section. We were all so proud of him:)

Sweet Baby Boys

I am so glad I kept many of Javan's outfits. I never thought Evan would get to wear any of them since the seasons are completely off, but given that Evan is so much smaller than Javan was, he is getting wear so many of them and I LOVE it!

Today he wore one of my most fave outfits - this cute little Strasburg bubble. I know this style isn't for everyone but its very English and very traditional and I love it. I feel like he's a baby for such a short time and I have so many years ahead to dress him like a big boy. So for now he can wear these cute outfits :)

I have a few more that I hope he gets to wear.

Evan on the move

Evan is crawling and its so cute to see him move around the house

 his sweet smile ... just melts me every.single.time

 and his new look - he squishes his eyes when he smiles and gets so excited!

needless to say, he is into everything now. new discoveries in every room and we constantly hear 'no evan!'

Birthday Fun!

Another year older .... wow!

First thing in the morning, the kids put out some gifts for me and Ria asked me to sit by them so she could take my pic just like I do for them on their birthdays. I told her I would rather have them with me in the pic cos they are the best gifts I have ever received.

We spent most of Saturday on the soccer field for the kids first games. It was HOT but we had a good time.

I got my hair cut and went out shopping for a bit so the kids could have a chance to bake me the cake they wanted to.

 I wish I looked like the 25yr old I still feel like :)

 Jermaine got a few of our friends together for dinner at FoodWorks. It was a nice relaxing evening, but for the first time ever the food was awful.

 We ended the night at Milk and Honey ... YUM YUM YUM

 Such a fun night with these girls and their sweet families.

Sunday after church, the kids and J took me to Blue Water Grille for brunch. It was delicious and made up for the not so good meal we had the night before

Great weekend celebrating with my family. But it didnt end there. My sweet hubby took today of from work just so he could celebrate with me alone. We worked out first thing in the morning

 surprised the kids with a visit at lunch time

 and then had our lunch Gardners Market

 and had a treat at Menchies

 Such a great day hanging out with my hubby. This birthday was perfect just being with my family.
