Here's a few other fun things from February

5. Javan is enjoying STEAM at the library. He goes once a month

 5. We have had a few consults with an orthodontist. He's been watching Javan's teeth for a while and suggested we get 2 baby teeth pulled. Now its time for a retainer.

27. J took the kids to a BUILD workshop. They had a great time.

 Ria got to hang out with her besties Claire and Livi and play with Josie too.

Alisha and I enjoyed a girls night out at Bonefish  (last time we were here together was the night before Evan was born!). We met up at Barnes and Noble with the rest of our crew later that night

 The girls had fun reading together.

February was a COLD month .... bbbrrrrr!!!

Snow Days

We got more snow ... a ton of snow for our area actually and it was just gorgeous. The best part of these snow days is having everyone home and of cos getting out to play in it. We had some great family time and made some sweet memories. Here's a few pics from our snow days:

 Evan turned 15mths today!

Poor baby could barely move - we had him bundled up in Ria's clothes and Javan's old boots which wear about 6 sizes too big!

 he really had no idea what to think of all this white stuff!

This snow didnt last as long but we got even more snow the next day but before it fell we headed to the gym for a run

 and later that afternoon around 4pm it started to really snow. Evan enjoyed watching it. We loved watching him watch the snow! He was so curious :)

 It was so peaceful and just beautiful.

 The kids couldn't wait for the morning, so bundled up and went outside to play.

 They had so much fun screaming and running around and throwing snowballs and making snow angels

 They were out til after 10pm! Good thing we had no school the next day :) Thursday morning (the 26th) we woke up to this beautiful sight

It had snowed all night long and it was just a perfect day to go sledding.

We had the best time making these awesome memories playing outside together.

Evan - 15mths

Fifteen months of pure sweetness with this little love. 

Evan is at such a fun age now. He is learning new things so quickly and its exciting to watch and experience all this newness with him. Jermaine and I love Javan and Ria's excitement when they discover Evan has learned something new. Its pretty awesome having a baby in the house with two older kids. Every thing he does is an OMG moment or 'MUMMY YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS!!!! Evan just did ...'  I just love it. And Evan adores his big brother and sister.

He is such a little busy body and is definitely my shadow. He always has to know where mama is and will cry if he cant find me.

 I just love those big brown eyes .... and he sure knows how to work them!

 He's still pretty petite but he's starting to get some chubs on him, esp in those cheeks!

I LOVE this pic ... I was testing my camera and he walked into the kitchen at that moment and I just snapped and got this pic. Couldn't have planned it any better!

Evan's 15mth check up this morning. He's doing just great! He's gaining weight very slowly but we're not concerned cos he eats well and its super active. Dr. C said normally he would be concerned, especially since Evan only gained a pound in 3mths but just by seeing how active he is and how healthy he looks, he will catch up eventually.

 He is so ticklish that he couldnt stand getting his ears checked!

15mth stats:

18.8lbs / 8.5kg (3%)

30 inches / 76.2cm (15% - up from 5% at 12mths!)

and just so I wont forget here:

- wears size 2 diapers, 6-12mth clothes, size 3 shoes

- has 3 teeth (2 bottom, 1 top)

- naps twice a day (he's a good napper but night time is a whole other story!)

- words he says are daddy, hi, bye, hey, bite, mama, thank you, hot, here. baby

- shakes his head to say no

- signs more, eat, please, thank you, hot, shoes, socks, ball

- knows his nose, eyes, head, belly

So that's a little bit of our Evan at 15mths! We are having the best time with him.
