and just like that May is over. This month has been crazy busy for us! Looking forward to all the fun and busyness June has to bring: camps, VBS, lots of time at the pool, doctor appointments for everyone, fun outings and lots more!

Ocoee Fun

Monday was a holiday so we kicked of the day with a braai (bbq) and ate til our tummies were bursting .... not quite but we could have!

 Chicken legs, chicken breast, pork chops, ribs, sausages (italian and spicy), grilled corn, roasted potatoes, baked beans ... soooo good!

 we had a late lunch so the kids were beyond ready to eat

after we ate, we headed out to the Ocoee for what turned out to be a very relaxed and fun few hours.

 Javan LOVED climbing all over the rocks. He did slip and fall into the water but it didnt deter him from pushing his boundaries to go deeper ... have to watch them both like hawks.

 perfect afternoon of rest for my hubby. he definitely needed it.

 stopped by this little beach area on our way home. it was so peaceful and serene out there.

We all had a wonderful time. Jermaine and I used to go out here a lot when we were dating and used to spend our time picnicking and reading by the lake. I know we will be going a lot more this summer cos the kids had so much fun.

Target, the zoo, dentist, Memphis, I like to see Moma and Thata in South Africa but we didnt go there yet
