Evan Newborn Pics ... part 2 (Evan and his nursery)

Just look at this teeny little love ... still hard to believe how tiny he was!

I haven't photographed his nursery but here's a little collage I had put together the night I finished it and just a few snap shots Meghan took. I kept it really simple - grey walls and white accents and yellow and some black. We used some chevron and elephant motifs.

Evan's Newborn Pics (family part 1) ... Better Late Than Never!

I realized I haven't shared Evan's newborn pics on here (nor pics of his nursery).  They are on facebook but I have to have them on here for when we eventually get this blog printed! It was such a crazy morning trying to get Ria, Evan and myself ready. J picked Javan up from school and came home on his lunch break. They stayed for about 20mins and had to head back to school ... not ideal but everything with Evan's arrival had not been so we rolled with it:) Meghan with Soli Photography took these (Kristen Jeffers from Kristen+Dave was with her helping)

Evan: 14mths

Just look at this little love! Today we celebrate 14mths of this sweetness in our lives.

He is so busy and into everything these days.

A few highlights at 14mths .... Evan is
- 18lbs/8kg
- wears size 6-9m or 9mth clothes
- 6-12m or size 2 shoes
- size 2 diapers
- has 2 teeth
- he is walking - still getting steady on his feet but he moves around pretty fast
- words : daddy, hi, bye, more, eat, mama, bite
- signs: more, thank you
- loves: balls (can roll or throw), books (rhythm of my day and polar bear is his faves), cars (loves laying on the floor and moving them back n forth), blocks,
- he gives kisses and loves to cuddle
- really loves Mickey Mouse and dances to the songs

here's a few pics from this past month

 Evan LOVES face time - its a daily treat for him :)

 this melts my heart ... Ria is such a sweet big sister to him.

 and he is clearly Ria's baby doll ... she loves dressing him up! He is a very willing participant :)

 and yes he usually has on hair bows at home :) he sometimes gets me headbands or hair bows to put on his hair!
