The BIG 3-0

I had a milestone birthday on the 6th. Here's some pictures in response to the email requests to 'can you please post pics from your birthday!'

Dinner at Southside Grill in Chattanooga

After Dinner Carriage Ride

Javan's card was perfect ...

he constantly comes up to me like this!

Afternoon Tea at the English Rose (saturday the 8th)

the lovely spread (biscuits aka cookies, tea sandwiches, scones and sticky toffee pudding)

Yes Mum - I did drink the tea (J took the pics to prove it! I actually liked it!)

Javan got a free box of biscuits!

We had fun!

This is Ridiculous

Y'all i hate poor customer service and for the past few days i have been dealing with the worst of the worst.

I was trying to change my auto bill pay on my Sprint account and could not log in. found out that they are changing over to a new system because of the merger with Nextel and so every customer has to register again (STRIKE 1).

After registering the stupid website "sprint.com" would not cooperate. basically i kept getting kicked out when i when to "bill pay." (STRIKE 2).

i called customer service for 3 days and no one could help me.. WHAT? i thought customer service was created to give customers....SERVICE. They were worthless.

So today i decided i was going to stay on the phone as long as it took to get them to cancel my auto bill pay. No joke...IT TOOK NEARLY TWO HOURS..multiple transfers to differnt departments, and let's not forget the "please stay on the line your call will be answered in approximately 15 minutes."

Tech support could not even help. infact tech support was trying to call other departments within Sprint and they were hanging up on her...hahahaha can you see why this experience was so ridiculous.

That was STRIKE 3 and i finally told the lady to forget it and we parted ways.

Anybody want to call for me next time?

I Love Packages...

Just ask my husband (or the UPS guy who got to know our house very well when I was pregnant!). I just like snail mail in general ... not the bills, the 'nice' mail! They're like little surprises each time you get something. Always so unexpected, never failing to brighten your day. Those kind of little surprises are hard to come by these days thanks to email (which I do like as well!). I was cooking dinner tonight and the UPS guy rang the doorbell and dropped of these 2 boxes - talk about a great surprise!

I opened them up eager to see who sent (I already suspected who had sent one of them!)

Thank you so much Mum and Dad for such a beautiful (early) birthday gift - I love you guys. Really wish we could celebrate together (we'll have to make up for it soon!)

The 2nd box came from one of my very best friends and little sis (I've always called her that!) Suzanne - she's such a sweetheart. Thank you hon - you're awesome!

I've enjoyed looking at my beautiful roses all evening - I love that they came early. Its made me so excited about embracing another year and turning the big 3-0!

I've got a couple more hours left as a 20 something year old! Guess the best way to see the 20's out is to catch some beauty rest. Goodnight!
